ESG
Environmental, social and governance factors in Constance Associés’ investment process.
Integrated into our investment process
Constance Associés applies a single investment process. Certain environmental, social and governance factors and certain sustainability risks are considered as a continuation of the financial and strategic analysis of companies.
These factors help assess the durability of competitive advantages, growth prospects and company-specific risks. They enrich the analysis; they are neither a separate management approach nor part of our marketing communications.
Integrated analysis carried out by our investment team
The investment team conducts its own non-financial analysis as an extension of its assessment of each company’s business model and strategy. It gives priority to data published by issuers and may use external research as a complement, without delegating its judgement.
The analysis combines quantitative data and qualitative factors, including controversies. Particular attention is paid to low-probability risks that could have a significant impact on the value of an investment.
All three funds fall within the scope of Article 8 under the SFDR.
Constance Be World, Constance Be America and Constance Be Europe all fall within the scope of Article 8 under the SFDR.
The same ESG integration policy applies to all three funds as part of Constance Associés’ single investment process. It also informs the analysis of discretionary portfolios, subject to their individual constraints.
Each fund’s regulatory documents describe the characteristics that apply to it.
Active ownership
Constance Associés monitors portfolio companies, engages with their management teams on strategic and ESG matters — particularly governance — and exercises voting rights in its clients’ interests.
Constance Associés has been a signatory to the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment since 2023.
Policies and implementation
The ESG policy, shareholder engagement policy and annual Article 29 LEC reports describe the framework applied and its implementation. These documents are published in Constance Associés’ regulatory document library.
